The maximum period a worker can be sponsored as a new entrant
An applicant can be classed as a new entrant for a maximum period of four years. The four years include time spent in any Tier 2 route, the Graduate route or as a Skilled Worker, whether that permission was for a continuous period.
If you qualify as a new entrant:
The New Entrant rules allow for a reduced salary threshold, typically set at 70% of the usual requirement for Skilled Worker visas. You may qualify for a Skilled Worker visa if your salary is at least £33,400.
Some companies are willing to sponsor applicants who meet the New Entrant criteria. In this case, we labelled those jobs on our job board.
